Received the Bengt Asker Award 2009 for the best Real-time Master Thesis!
Each year, the board of SNART - The Swedish National Real-Time Association gives the Bengt Asker Award
to the best Master or Final Year Thesis in the field of real-time and embedded systems.
I am extremely delighted to have been awarded the 2009 Bengt Asker Award for the best Real-time Master Thesis! Prize ceremony was held during the Real-Time in Sweden (RTiS) conference in Lund (August 19-20). The prize included 5.000 SEK, thanks to generous support from Volvo.
My Master Thesis is entitled "Application Support Design for Wireless Sensor Networks" and has been carried out in Kista, Stockholm from
September 2008 to February 2009.
It was hosted by Saab Security and the Networked Embedded Systems Group of the Swedish Insitute of Computer Science.
My supervisors were Pablo Suarez from Saab and Thiemo Voigt from SICS.
The Thesis was defended at KTH and SICS in the beginning of March 2009, and during April 2009 in Turin. In both cases I received maximum grades and honors. If interested in downloading my report (beware, it's long!), you can find it in the Research section.
