Received the EWSN 2010/CONET Award for the best Industrial Master Thesis in the area of Cooperating Objects!
On February 17-19, 2010, I attended the 7th European Conference on Wireless Sensor Networks (EWSN) hold in Coimbra, Portugal as a speaker for my paper "Making Sensornet MAC Protocols Robust against Interference".
During the conference dinner, the jury of the EWSN/CONET M.Sc. and Ph.D. award 2010 has awarded:
- the M.Sc. Academic award to Matthias Wilhelm (Kaiserslautern, Germany) for his Thesis "Implementation and Analysis of a Key Generation Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network"
- the M.Sc. Industrial award to by Carlo Alberto Boano (Lübeck, Germany) for his Thesis "Application Support Design for Wireless Sensor Networks"
- the Ph.D. Academic award to Dr. Olga Saukh (Bonn, Germany) for her Thesis "Efficient Algorithms for Structuring Wireless Sensor Networks"
- the Ph.D. Industrial award to Dr. Antidio Viguria (Sevilla, Spain) for his Thesis "Market-based Distributed Task Allocation Methodologies applied to Multi-robot Exploration"
